Children's Ministry

Sunday Morning Worship 10am.  Sadly, our Sunday School is in recess until further notice.  In the service we do have a Kid Spots during the school holidays.

At Berri Church of Christ Sunday School, we are excited to share the good news of God’s love with children ranging in age from 2 to 12 years old.

This year Sunday School has been in recess.  We hope classes will recommence in 2023.

During school holidays, there are special Kid Spots during the worship service

MOPS - Mothers of Pre Schoolers
MOPS Kids

When: Tuesdays Fortnightly 9.30 - 11.30am, at Berri Church of Christ (with on-site care for children)

While their mums laugh and learn together, the babies and little kids enjoy on-site care and age-appropriate activities in MOPS Kids.

Children are kept busy with a program including games, indoor/outdoor activities, a bible story and a craft, as well as free play.

MOPS Kids carers are required to have child-safe clearances. Carers are volunteers who give their time because they have a heart for kids and value the opportunity for mums to have some ‘time out’.

MOPS - Mothers of Pre Schoolers
This is Motherhood

When: Tuesdays Fortnightly 9.30 - 11.30am, at Berri Church of Christ (with on-site care for children)

Through the ups and downs of motherhood, no one better understands what it takes to be a mum than other mums.

At MOPS, mothers of preschool age children meet together to be supported, encouraged and equipped as they find their place in a mothering community and discover they are not alone.

Come along and meet new friends, hear speakers on relevant topics, learn new skills and gain confidence in mothering.

Community Lunches

12noon, first Sunday of each month after the morning worship service (held at 10am every week)

On the first Sunday of each month, there is a Community Lunch after the worship service for all members of the community, helping build our relationships with God and also with one another. These are times of good food and great conversation, always with plenty to share, so come along and join us. You will be most welcome!

Sew & Chat Group

Every Wednesday morning during school terms. Commencing at 9.30am and finishing at 12 noon. All are welcome to arrive and leave whenever suits you between those hours.

Each Wednesday Morning sees a group of enthusiastic women and men join together for craft and a chat over a cup of tea or coffee. The group comprises of folk from the community and from our own fellowship. It is a very friendly bunch, welcoming all who find that they could do with some company, good conversation and an opportunity to learn new crafts or just do their own projects.

Pepper Tree Shack Mens Group

Every second Tuesday of each month,  6pm free tea, 7pm speaker,

at Berri Church of Christ

Pepper Tree Shack is a mid-week gathering for men from all Riverland towns who want to be encouraged in life and faith. We start with a fellowship meal, then hear a speaker share a message or testimony of their life. While our church hall can’t imitate the original Pepper Tree Shack, the venue comes alive every second Tuesday evening of each month, with many contributing to help make “the Shack” a welcoming place where Riverland men can support each other.  Contact Kevin Matthews on 0417882688
